Painting in Mount Holly, with the owner on every job
If your home or business in Mount Holly needs fresh paint, stain or a thorough cleaning, J.Lynn Painting can help. We are a woman-owned, owner-operated painting company based in Poultney, serving every town in Rutland County, with over 20 years of experience.
Vermont weather is hard on paint. Freeze-thaw cycles, snow and summer humidity crack and peel coatings that were not applied over a properly prepared surface, so every job starts with prep: cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching and priming where it is needed.

When to schedule
Interior painting can be done year-round. Exterior painting, staining and power washing are scheduled from late spring through summer. We do not recommend exterior painting in the fall, because temperatures drop quickly heading into winter and paint needs steady warmth to cure. If you reach out in the fall, we will put your project on the schedule for spring.
